1. Who We Are & Acceptance

This website is operated by Vitalina Lahman, an independent artist based in Israel ("the artist", "we"). By using this website or purchasing artwork you agree to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use this site. For any questions about these terms, reach out via the contact page.

2. Intellectual Property

All artworks, images, and text on this website are protected by copyright and belong to Vitalina Lahman. You are welcome to browse and share links to the site, but reproducing, redistributing, or commercially using any image or content requires the artist's prior written permission. Purchasing an artwork transfers ownership of the physical piece only — copyright and reproduction rights remain with the artist unless explicitly agreed in writing.

3. Artwork Listings & Accuracy

All artworks displayed on this website are original pieces, described in good faith. Colors may differ from what you see on screen due to display settings and photographic conditions, and stated dimensions are approximate. Each artwork is unique — once sold, it is no longer available, and listings may be updated or withdrawn at any time.

4. How Purchases Work

This site has no online checkout. If you are interested in an artwork, send an inquiry via the contact form; the artist will confirm availability, the final price, shipping options, and the payment method by email. No contract is formed until the artist confirms your order in writing. Where a hosted payment link is offered for a specific artwork, the purchase is completed when the payment succeeds, subject to availability.

5. Prices & Payment

Artwork prices are provided on inquiry and confirmed as part of each order, together with the currency, any shipping costs, and the payment method. The confirmed price is the final price.

6. Shipping & Delivery

Artworks ship from Israel. The shipping method, cost, and estimated delivery date are agreed as part of each order confirmation. Packaging, carriers, insurance, and transit-damage claims are described in the Shipping Policy. Risk in the artwork passes to you on delivery.

7. Cancellation & Returns

Sales arranged remotely — through this website, email, or phone — are distance-sale transactions under the Israeli Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981. You may cancel such a purchase from the day the order is confirmed until 14 days after receiving the artwork or the transaction disclosure document, whichever is later. If you are a person with a disability, a senior citizen (65+), or a new immigrant, this period extends to four months, provided the transaction included a conversation with the artist (including by electronic means).

To cancel, notify us in writing via the contact page. Refunds are issued within 14 days of the cancellation notice, to the same payment method used. Where the cancellation is not due to a defect or non-conformity, a cancellation fee of 5% of the price or 100 NIS (whichever is lower) may be charged, return shipping is at your expense, and the artwork must be returned undamaged. If the artwork arrived damaged or not as described, no fee applies — see the Shipping Policy for transit-damage claims.

Commissioned or custom-made works produced to your specifications cannot be cancelled once work has begun, under the statutory exception for goods manufactured specially for the consumer.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the artist is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of this website or the purchase of artwork. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer-protection law.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the competent courts of Tel Aviv-Yafo have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence.
